Admission requirements for the MSc program in Cologne:

To be admitted to our MSc program at the University of Cologne, a BSc degree in Physics (or equivalent) is required. In particular, we expect students to have good knowledge in theoretical physics (classical mechanics, electrodynamics, quantum mechanics & thermodynamics / statistical mechanics). If your study course does not contain a significant amount of courses in these fields (i.e. roughly 20% of the overall credit points) we expect you to prove your knowledge e.g. via additional certificates or small exams. Please note that we consider this necessary to enable all students to successfully pass our MSc in Physics course.
